Pete, I found some pics of the Mustang ll turbo-4. This a much older and more crude than the other Bburagos I had shown Besides the poorly chased castings, note the exposed wire springs that snap the hood closed. Besides paint and decals, I made a large diameter single exhaust from aluminum tubing.

Relatively crude but certainly an unusual model of the Mustang II. I hated this car at the time but I noted that Rob Walker, the owner of many of the cars that Stirling Moss raced, owned one for his personal use. Thanks Rich.

The engine detail looks pretty good.

Rich, it may be a bit crude by today’s standards but it’s a great piece to have in your collection. Thanks for posting the pics. Nice job as always!  It reminds me of the 1979 Indy Pace Car.  I believe these could be ordered with either the the 5.0L V8 or the Turbo 4.

@pete-rovero I know virtually nothing about the Mustang ll. In that depressing era of American automobile devolution, I found that generation of 'Mustang' (and I use the term loosely) particularly appalling.

It all depends how you photograph it. What you see there is a one piece casting that looks OK if you shoot straight down on it. A touch of paint detailing also helped a bit.

@rich-sufficool

I understand how you feel Rich.  But if we didn't go through those "dark" times we wouldn't have the current generation of Mustangs today.  Don't forget, the Mustang nearly became a front wheel drive platform in 1988 if it wasn't for the outcry of Mustang fans.  The Mustang carried on in its then boxy Fox platform until 1993.  The FWD car, if you recall, became the Probe.
