I passed on this one because it's not really my thing. Since then I've learned to appreciate these a lot more, so now I wish I hadn't.

Though I personally am not in to these, I've mellowed a lot over the years when seeing them on the road during "Back to the 50's" weekend in June each year and as they cruise the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Great photos Tony!  I love the BLUE!

I am so about these hot rods.  I have everyone that Danbury put out as I just love to see a modified car vs the actual car.  Not saying I don't like originals, I do, but when I can have a hot rodded version, I was not going to miss out.  As a kit building model cars, I always built them in a hot rod fashion, bigger tires, different rims, lifted rear end, souped up engine.  But at the same time I tried to keep the exterior as stock as possible, so it more looked like a sleeper car with just minor mods.  Oh those were the days.  I haven't built a model in 30 years.  But when I retire, I plan on starting again.  I've collect over 200 different models just waiting for that day.
