I’m always looking for accessories to dress up my diecast displays. I noticed this bike in a model kit on eBay, had to have it. It’s actually a little model kit in itself, and it’s so tiny, being in that it’s in 1/24 scale, that it was kind of difficult for an old feeble man to build it. I think it turned out pretty good, and it looks cool next to the Danbury Vettes. I wanted one of these bikes when I was a boy, I remember the “Peeler” series from Schwann with the shifter on the frame rail, the small front tire, and the cheater slick out back. Nothing cooler!
Stingray !!!! the unimaginably too cool (and expensive (super) Schwinn)......looks great Kevins
@john-barry Thanks John, I wonder why spellcheck made it Schwann?

a Freudian slip into an inter-meshed memory?

That Doctor JayBee....he know 'bout all that Frodo-psychalitical sh_t man! He gots deegree in that, Dog!
I shonuff heard dat, bro mus be German to know bout Schwan(z)!
.......despite Jack`s odd turnings,Schawnn (sp) used to run a "meat from your pickup truck" business......except much of their focus was on high dairy-fat ice cream....it stood to reason that a heavily muscled Stingray pilot would get first choice when the Schwann wagon turned onto your street....unless unless it was a bear patrol night
Too right JayBee....thanks for the clarification; although the pilot involvement seemed to be an odd turning....
