Jada's 1940 Cadillac Series 75 "Godfather" sedan is your basic '2 foot model'. OK from a distance, but don't expect too much from it. It was a low end model more of a toy to be sold at big box toy stores rather than for a discerning collector. I got rid of the more toy-like look by merely blackwashing he frill and the adjacent waterfalls. This first run model came with a really well done pug nosed gunsel menacingly reaching for his pistol. In the back seat, however, is an awful looking seated Godfather figure that I found impossible to remove, but realizing the rest of the interior was nothing to write home about, I decided to let it be. The car itself, is, like I said, a 2 footer. Only the headlamps were modeled. The parking and tail lamps are painted. The front wheels are not poseable. The second run of this model replaced the gunsel with a standing figure of the Marlon Brando character which is as well done as the gunsel and the back seat is unoccupied. I forget what I paid for it. I think it was in the $30 range. I'm surprised how much people are asking for this on the secondary market. Perhaps this model has achieved a cult status. Or, maybe it looks a lot better in the pictures than it actually is. And, I have to say, it looks pretty cool in my pics, so....
