I prefer the somewhat less chromed Mercury Coupe this time John.

Both really really cool but I vote for the Pontiac by the nose of the hood ornament.

I like when these "Which One's" make me think a little.  This is one of them.  I really like them both, but prefer the slant-back look of the PONTIAC.  That said, I'd take the keys to either one in a heartbeat.

While both are warmed-up 42's, I think the Pontiac was just a little more advanced, at least in styling. Neither was really special IMO, but after no new cars being produced for more than three years, who cared?

Pontiac gets the nod by a slim margin.  I like the styling of the Pontiac a bit more than the Mercury.  If the Pontiac was a coupe it would be a clear winner IMHO.  I would be happy to own either one of these cars though.

The combination of glossy black paint, shiny chrome, red wheel rims, and wide whitewalls make that Pontiac stunning, and it wins my vote.

I love the fastback styling of the GM line.
