I'm with Frank. The Chevy for me.
LOL my wife says the problem with the Pontiac is that it's sacrilegious for it to be in the snow. The problem with owning an old car in Minnesota is that it has to be stored in a nice garage for almost 9 months of every year.

I like both but Pontiac by the slightest of margins. The interiors of the Star Chiefs are fabulous.

It I were picking between the two cars based on dashboards and interiors, then the PONTIAC is the standout winner. I've always loved the dash of the '56.

Chevrolet for me. Never a fan of the '56 Pontiac, yet I loved the '55.

Go figure, for George's Safari or Nomad compare, 17% called it a tie, 58% picked the Pontiac Safari and only 25% picked the Chevrolet Nomad.
While for this 2dr. hardtop compare, no one called a tie, only 12.5% picked the Pontiac 2dr. hardtop and a whopping 87.5% picked the Chevrolet 2dr. hardtop.

John; I voted a tie for the Safari/Nomad comparison but Chevy for the 2drht. comparison. IMHO the rear view of the Safari is gorgeous and better than the beautiful Nomad; however the nose of the Safari is chunky and coarse looking compared to the trim Nomad.

Yes Jack, I got to believe the rear fender skirts are the contributing factor for the Safari's appeal.
