The Mercury is so over the top, it’s hard not to pick it, but the Buick is my favorite year Buick, and in that color, gorgeous.

Buick for me after the 55-56 the 57 was a breath of fresh air…..oh and I owned 2 of’em !☺️

I feel bad for the Mercury for '57. Overall, I like it! And I like it because it is over the top futuristic and completely different than any other car for that year. It certainly got noticed on the road. BUT, if given the choice of the Mercury or the BUICK, the BUICK WINS! It has smooth lines, a pleasing grille and simply looks nice.

Longtime fan of both of these beauties, but it's the more conservative style of the Buick that wins my vote.
