I'm going with the Chrysler. The Buick seems neutered after 1959.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I'm choosing the Chrysler also.
You'd look very prosperous pulling up in either one of these in 1960, but the Chrysler has the edge in overall styling, and again as yesterday, those fabulous boomerang taillights. Plus I think the Chrysler had the better engine, transmission, and suspension.
Great comparo to follow yesterday's, John!

WOW! John, after yesterday's interesting discussion regarding the '60, '61, '62 Chrysler's, you piggy-backed on my comments that the '60 Chrysler and the '60 Buick were the only two cars for the sixties that were styling classics.
For those that read my response yesterday on that thread, you already know that I voted the '60 Chrysler as (my) #1 and the '60 Buick as (my) #2 best looking cars for that year from the Big Three. Love today's comparison, and my favorite is still the Chrysler #1 and Buick #2.

LOL Ed, you stole my word "neutered" that I used in yesterday's "Which One?" when describing the '62 Chrysler that was minus its tail fins. In your use fo the word for today's '60 Buick, I'll agree that it was tamed down from the '59, but it still had its fins and still radiates nothing but beauty to my eyes.

Oaky john, you did it again...very tough decision. I vote for the Chrysler by the smallest of margins as both cars are fabulous in my mind.
I like them both very much but give the nod to the more elegant looking Buick. In this full size higher end class of car it matters more than sporty.
Vote for the Chrysler for it's drive-train & suspension system. Looks alone would have been a tie. The only full-size Buick I actually like the styling of.
They are both nice but the Buick makes more of a statement.

I will never understand what happened to US auto styling in '60 / '61 / '62 with obvious exceptions such as the '61 Lincoln Continental and Cadillacs. Body mouldings seem incohesive. Each element making its own statement, regardless of any theme. And bloated too, as if pumped-up like balloons. Though of course, if offered either, I'd jump at the chance. A tie.
@charles-rockett I think the North American car styling from 1960 through '62 changed significantly. The fin era ended for the most part and a leaner, cleaner, more conservative looking design emerged in '61; particularly with GM and Ford. I will agree with you about the inconsistent body mouldings and even styling lines relative to some of the Chryco lineup in '61-62 but GM and Ford in '61 and '62 were very well done IMHO.
It took me a few minutes to come to a choice....and the Buick wins by just a smidge.... I love that tu-tone paint treatment and just about everything else in its styling.
Sure, the Chrysler is a handsomely styled car, but this Buick has my 💓
