Not my preferred type of car. I like something more compact. Too large and not the best handling. While I have chosen others of this size, my experiences with both of these vehicles has not been positive. Yes, I've driven both. I'll pass on this pair.
I’ll go the 57, the 60 is sharp but the 57 might be cool to drive around in. 😎

I really like both. Nod to the 57.
Bob, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Generally speaking I prefer the 1950s styling over the 60s by a narrow margin; so the nod goes to the '57.
60 for me and would love to have one of those in 1/24 sitting on my shelf!
Being they are so different in styling, I have to say I like them both the same. I really don't think it's fair to compare them next to each other.

I'll add my vote to 1957. I like its looks and its proportions.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
1960 one of the very few Buicks I actually like the styling of.

The way I see them, the difference is all the more reason to compare them.

They are both great cars and I love them both, but all things considered, I lean a bit more toward the '57.

I know what you're saying John, and I understand. Here's my take on it. The '57 Buick compared to other '57 GM cars, I wouldn't choose the Buick. But by it self, I like the '57 Buick. And the same is true for the '60 Buick, but in that scenario, the '60 compared to other '60 GM cars, the Buick wins hands down. Not sure I'm even making sense. I'm leaving it a TIE vote.

Another example of the incredible year-to-year changes back then. I would usually go for the newer car, but the colors on the '57 seal it for me.

I like both but if I could have one as my own I'd choose the '60. Its styling is beautiful.
