Remember when we used to get just one single Winter per Year?....Ahhhhhh the Hell with it....getcha some of those good Pepperidge Farm cookies and enjoy the hearth

Great pics JB. Back in the day the VW was known as the winter "go anywhere" vehicle to have (not mentioning the so-called defroster...yikes)....and the name was well deserved. I had a tired old '58 I used to go bush banging with as a teen and my buddy used his very decent white '63 Corvair Monza coupe to race through the trails against me. If only we had known; what a waste........it was definitely a keeper at the outset. I would love to have a restored split window thru '67 Beetle in my garage....or such a Corvair for that matter.
