You know when we see an incredible feat of athleticism or a freakish, I dunno, golf, tennis, for some of us cricket shot, and the response is "nah you cant do that"!

Fantastic group of scale replicas. Nice to see Cliff Read is still cranking out quality "stuff."   He and his brother are awesome modelers. I'm not much of a Cheetah  fan, but I agree with John, that's the best one I've ever seen!

As a student I took 1st place when I competed in a model contest among 2 high schools. Compared to model entries/winners today....they wouldn't even let me in the building. 🙄 🙄

The paint and workmanship is outstanding.  Put's my models to shame.  Sorry that I show them after seeing these.

I call B.S. on that.. IMO, you're a Master Modeler Chris

I've seen, because of your pics, what you have accomplished with model cars.

Please don't underestimate yourself...

You give the rest of us plebeians hope.... Lol

Thanks Steve. Perhaps I mis-phrased my comment. What I tried to say was that my "winning 1st place 1/25 model ...beating out submissions from two high schools...can't compare to what 1/25 modelers are doing today."

Despite being lucky enough to have my 1/18 diecast projects featured in magazines, I haven't entered a model contest in decades. If/when I finish up my 1/18 1956 Ford COE car hauler project... I might enter that.  Stay tuned....

Again, thanks for the compliments.

Incredible detail on most of these builds. I cannot believe that fuel gauge on the Bugatti. It must have created enormous wind resistance on the full sized car. Thanks Chav for the excellent photos.

@geoff-jowett Thanks Geoff, I will. Incidentally, I post most of my 1/18 custom fabrications (step-by-step ) on these Forums.  This particular 1/18 project can be seen by searching this site, "1956 Ford COE,"  or by clicking this link: 1/18 1956 Ford COE car hauler project…. – Forum 18 – The Diecast Zone Forums

Your car hauler is incredible!  I thought I was looking at the real thing, right down to the '58 Fords sans hubcaps/wheel covers.  Excellent work!

@chris

Like the other comments, the car hauler looks great. What other enhancements do you plan for it?  I cannot imagine any additional enhancements it needs.
