The first motorized carriages were basically continuing the horse drawn carriage by merely replacing the horse with an internal combustion, electric or steam driven engine. This 1907 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Landaulet continues that design with carriage set above the wheels and the frame above the axles. The high center of gravity contributed to a harsh ride and limited speed on secondary and unpaved roads. Of course the carriage on this Rolls was as plush as the wealthy owner's living room with plush seating to allow you to bounce around in relative comfort while you yelled through the horn for your chauffer to slow down!!!

I wonder if anyone else had noticed an expanding (width-wise) of the photos uploaded to TDZ. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and Opera, today, and the problem persists. This issue started last night, for me, and is continuing, today. I noticed this happening with some photographs I uploaded in the past week or so, and I deleted them in the belief that it was the photograph that was creating a problem with the TDZ system. Are there any file types - PNG, GIF - that cause a problem with the system? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys. I have a customer who reached out to me asking about a custom Corvette for a special retirement gift. I do get these calls often but usually once I explain how time intensive the process, how talented the artist must be and subsequently, the fact that it will be costly, on top of the cost of the original model... The idea usually dies. lol In this case, the customer was not deterred. Anyway, is there anyone in this group that is still doing this type of service? I would love to partner up with you on this project.

He wants to use the AUTOart Z51 as the base model. it is composite not diecast.

I am not even sure if this is possible but I knew if anyone could do it they would be here. I am thinking that it would be like a "wrap" for a car but on a smaller scale, but what do I know?

Thanks in advance for any assistance. Photo attached
