My not-so-favorite Frenchman has new listings up, two of which are on my hit list, but each with a slight problem. It appears that somewhere along the model's journey an owner took it upon himself to alter the grill from Rolls Royce to Bentley, and not necessarily in a professional manner. Both models are in the top five on my wish list, but I'm not sure they are worth the investment. I could buy them and then buy two 'parts cars' and redo the radiator grills for both, which may be an easy task, or not, depending on the adhesive used by the previous owner. I'll post the GLM RR Vincent Van photos and the RR Matrix photos with the altered models.

In our family, my Grandfather and Grandmother bought a brand-new 1955 4-door Pontiac sedan. It was a reliable part of the family for 10 years until it was given to one of my aunts.

The car was a two-tone edition in light and dark blue and featured an all-chrome jet airplane/spaceship as a hood ornament. Here is a picture showing that configuration as well as me and my older sister and her friend before the first day of grade school in September, 1959.

I happily have this year Pontiac in diecast in scale and they are real prized replicas.
