I'm not so much into supercars, but this one has something special to me. Regarding the car I like how Ford manage to make the connection with GT40, to keep the lines of the ancient one but add the technology of the day. Had to admit that watching Jay Leno's Garage video pull the trigger in acquiring the model.
I love Alin's Auto Art but have to admit, the Maisto has a lot of detail for the price.

Gavin,
You're Maisto, in blue, looks outstanding.
Love it, but I doubt I will ever see one in the flesh....living in The Netherlands...
I have the Maisto and think it's a really nice model but the Autoart looks terrific in those colors. Great pictures Alin and Galen.
Not a "Super Car Guy" either but I agree with Alin. There is something special about these Ford GTs. FoMoCo did it again....right? Right!
Love it, but I doubt I will ever see one in the flesh....living in The Netherlands...
Joop, you have to come to Michigan, great shows and museums.
Also bad rods and no autobahns, these are trailer-queens and status-symbols ... never seen one speeding around, but driving 20 miles/hour in downtown Ann Arbor - yes! ... great head-turner. I guess one can drive it on a speedway.

Here is the real deal at Ford museum
Thanks for the pics, Chav.
But since my wife and me are both non-vaxxers, I am sure my future-holidays are not going to be US-oriented.
Maybe in the far future, but then we will see these GTs as older cars.....
I don't understand the non-vaxxer issue, I am an MD and took care of some may critically ill patients, so many died, I had my shot 7 months ago, already traveled to Europe in March, still kicking, all my family is vaccinated, this is a nasty virus, I still wear mask indoors ... enough said. Just reconsider....
Hi Chav,
I understand your standpoint, I am sorry you can not understand mine.
But this is not the proper place to discuss this matter.
