I fired up the engines on my Kaiser’s and took them out for a photo shoot.  Can you imagine the Brooklin of  today doing a car like this?

Standard Brooklin Manhattan (above) became this (below) after  John Ellis  did this outstanding conversion into a Dragon

Here are all the standard Brooklin Kaiser Manhattans

‘53 in Cerulean Blue

‘53 in Australian Beige over Sabre Jet Blue

‘53 in Onyx Black (1 of 500 cars in the Rotterdam Edition by Brooklin)

’54 in Island Green Poly

‘54 in Palm Beach Ivory over Comet Blue Poly

Comparison views of the ‘53 and ‘54 Manhattans

Brooklin also did a taxi  and there have been several Code 3  models  done by various modelers.

My thanks to John Ellis for posting pictures of his magnificent ‘53 Dragon conversion. I would love to add that beautiful Dragon to my collection of Kaisers!

Interesting presentation and comparison, David. Thank you. The John Ellis rendition is wonderful.
