PICS - Part 10 and finished! It's a Gas...
... Ronda, that is!
I'll take and post more photos tomorrow when I have better light, but here's a few. No, it isn't perfect. There are a number of assembly complications that I had that were not antictipated. For example, during the cutting and body building process, the body got tweaked and would not allow smooth operation of opening doors. So I glued the doors shut. Then there were the numerous paint chipping that required repaint, after repaint, after repaint! Arg!!!!
There are a few other issues too but I won't bore you with the details. But, overall, I'm pleased with the result of this incredibly difficult and challenging modification. Now that I've had the experience of buidling this one, I'll be prepared to address the problems on my next longnose, which will be the the Bill Lawton Tasca Ford Mustang.
It started life as this beautiful AutoWorld 1965 Mustang 2+2. Yes, the model is gorgeous and I'll probably buy another just to have as is in my collection. It required 3 of these to build my Gas Ronda longnose funny car.

Damn Marty, ABSOLUTELY TOP DRAWER! It could not be better. Congratulations Job well done doesn't even touch it! I only have a few Racers and I want one of these!!!!!!! Very High Quality Work You should be VERY PROUD! Now you can go wax the C-5 and get caught up on things. Man, WOW, Colosule, Beautiful, what else is there?
