I thought my 1/18 Zamboni ice resurfacer machine, with all of its CMC-like  finely articulated detail, was out there.....   but I do believe Marty's entry wins the "Goofball award"  hands down!         What the hell is that?  🤪 😵 😳

Most definitely this Holy Grail (pun intended) that I recently acquired. Some may not find this odd at all, but is odd for me. This was the first time ever I saw this model for sale.

1/24 Motor City USA 1939 Cadillac LaSalle Carved Hearse

Second oddest (I have 3 of the 4)

Very nice Chav, congrats!    You know....

Gene Parrill's Precision Miniatures (Motor City USA ) released a 1/18 1938 Cadillac "carved hearse."    Tooling costs were minimized when a deal was struck with Signature to utilize their 1/18 1938 Cadillac front clip, doors & chassis.  Thus, the two models are identical from the doors forward.

@chris

Very interesting, nice interior. On the 1/24 hearse nothing opens.

@chris

Chris, this may be the 1:1 copied by MCUSA (for the 1:24 model), the "Funeral" spotlight is very unique. Both the 1:24 and 1:18 model have it.

I think perhaps the oddest car in my 1/18 collection is the beautiful 1940 Lincoln Scrape as done by Hot Wheels many years ago.

I just received a 1/24 model of a Cybertruck. My wife, who likes my collection, asked me to put the model in a place where she wouldn"t have to see it every day because it's so ugly.

@bob-jackman I have the same issue Bob; my missus similarly demanded that I remove the so-called "ugly" model I have from my collection and "put it where the sun don't shine"....so it's under my pillow.

This Dinky Toys #60f Cierva Autogiro is one of the most unusual items in my Dinky collection... produced from 1935 to 1940

About the closest thing to odd in my 1/18 is the dual-wing Lotus 49B, and I don't think it's that odd. On the other hand, my 1/43 collection...well, it's probably easier to choose which ones aren't odd.

@jack-dodds I can see why she doesn't want to be outdone.

@jack-dodds Jack, you certainly outdid me. Little hard trying to sleep with that under your pillow isn't it?
