PICs: another '61 Lincoln
Color study model 1 of 4, also known as the "Harrison Ford Lincoln". I am happy it is in my collection.
If the pictures are too large for your monitor, just click on them and view in flickr.

Thank you Pete. Some time ago I got a variety of nice hood ornaments ...
from a seller in Russia, he was on eBay but his stuff were hard to find ... just guessing your ideas ...

A+ 101% beautiful Lincoln. Amazing how the windshield and wing windows match up sp perfectly. The headlights don't have 'dead spots' in them.. I could go on 'n on on how beautifully perfect this model is. It must be from Danbury, right ?
Ok, I would have preferred a black up-top and a more accurately scaled auto trans gear selector. Those are my only nit-picks.
Steve, it is Franklin Mint, same as the white, black, turquoise etc.
Just different color that was never mass-produced. I agree, the fit and finish are particularly good for this sample. I did detail the hood ornament and the antenna base as they had some minor damage.
Very delicate hood ornament, so much better than the stamped steel one FM used.
I have a soft spot in my heart for theses slab sided Lincolns. I sold my '65 Sedan last year after owning it since 1997. It was rescued from an impound yard after sitting there for 7 years with only 49K miles on it. I was a picture car driver and used it in Quentin Tarantino's movie "What's Upon a Time in Hollywood" as a background car, as well as two other cars I own. Below is a pic on the Hollywood Blvd set. Sorry for getting off topic!

You did it proud Chav.
Oh God Pete, that must have been tough to part with. If my memory serves me right, don't you have a DDG '66 Caprice 1:1 wagon ? Please treat us to pics. I believe we ran into each other in the 'toy' aisle at walmart in buena park during the Knotts ford show years ago.
That's so cool Pete, now I have to watch the movie ...
Beautiful model of a beautiful car. I love it in silver.

Very nice! I like it!! Excellent work!
Outstanding!
That's the best photo of the Harrison Ford Lincoln posted here....
...It dates back quite a way. If I recall correctly, after Harrison Ford wanted a model of his own car, in that color, FM had something like 12 other paint samples that made their way to private collectors. THANKS for sharing it Chav!
Very sharp!
