JB, you obviously know Jack Russells.
the first one I met had one eye and the aura of a coiled spring.....he waved a 5` two by four at me to test my mettle .....decided I was inconsequential and went back to thumping things with his board
what a remarkably successful topic you've started and maintained Lu. Possibly tells us a few things, most notably, which has already been mentioned, is the interest in 1/24. I guess numbers of actual people that have viewed would be hard to determine as many of us have viewed multiple times, but a real highlight and contribution. Thanks mate!
One arrived here yesterday. Hachette detail is improving all the time. According the the accompanying booklet this is no 38 in a series of Citroens. I have a few already with the Traction C7 Sedan and the SM Opera de Chapron on their way. Series goes from the 20s to pretty close to present day. Very "exotic" vehicle designs.
British Saturday! Today we have a factory-built 1952 Jaguar XK120 from Small Wheels. The car is known as the Montlhéry Fixed Head Coupe. In 1952, Stirling Moss, Jack Fairman, Bert Hadley and Leslie Johnson piloted the actual car for seven days and seven nights in Montlhéry at an average speed of 100.32 miles per hour, including all stops. Small Wheels did a great job on this one. The hood is functional, the engine bay is nicely replicated, and the paint is deep and rich with no defects. Enjoy!
great car and model, thanks Lu
Nice looking Model, nice pics.
