Wonderful pictures of two outstanding models. Since moving to the south 36 years ago, I'm happy to report that I have yet to see a set of snow chains.
Rarely do we see them on cars in Tennessee, even in most parts of mountainous East Tennessee. But here in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and most of the foothills, they, and/or 4X4's, are required for certain areas, by the Park Service.Â

thanks for the crystal clarity photos Tony.......there`s a tale told `round here, about a family of raccoons overnighting at a chain motel on Interstate Forty during an impassable snowstorm....damned if the details are forthcoming 🤔Â

no.....damned means you GET no details Tony.....I can only say that the four of them never made the steel stairway ring out with their pattery feet, and that the chain in question was the veritable Red Roof Inn
Beautiful photography and the first time that I have seen a model with chains in place. Thanks Tony.

Oh NUTS! Well I should have suspected Red Roof Inn. Maybe another raccoon tale will be soon in the offing.

Thank you David! Ertl has made a few of these tractors with them for quite some time. I noticed a couple made by SpecCast also, in 1/16th scale as well.
of all the selected tractors you`ve posted in this thread,I kinda favor those perfectly shot Olivers.....not the Fordson/Hoyt Clagwell that so plagued Mr Douglas, but a tractor he would have certainly cherished
Good choice JB! The big Super 99 was a true workhorse. Just look at that big GMC blower on that engine and you know it means business!Â
