PICs: Conversion 1939 Cadillac Convertible Sedan...

On e-bay, many silver platet 1939 Cadillac Sedan from IXO available for "pennys".
I got mine for just 2,50 Euro plus 3,00 shipping.
I think, the last year for a regular convertible sedan from Cadillac was 1941.
Victory dit a wonderful model in 1:43. Unfortunatelly, I dont have it...
2011 Cadillac shows us a very nice concept car,the Ciel, a convertible sedan also.

For a partwork model, it has many parts in a very good quality:

Back doors on the convertible sedan is wider as on the sedan:

The primed model. Foldet convertible top addet (Its from my "junk box",
I must just widen it for some millimeters) :

And the finished model:

The Interior has some nice details, the footrest for example:

And here in the middle from Rex Toys 1938 V16 and Brooklins 1938 convertible sedan:

It was fun.
Happy collecting

Masterful, Christoph! The term, "kitbashed" would demean your result.

Thank you very much for your friendly comments...

I'm glad you like this conversion, but it was really easy to do it. Thanks.
