Posting and viewing pictures is what this great website is all about, so I thought this would make a good subject to post.
This is my favorite pic and it happens to be a picture that I took myself.....but your favorite image doesn't have to be one of your own.
This image to me represents everything I think about when I think about model cars. The model also just happens to be my white metal model pick of 2022.
Art deco at its finest and the angle of the photograph is perfect for this car....

I've always been fond of this one

The design, the shape, the look, the angle of the pic and the Lincoln etc give you the taste to have the model in your collection. For me also this is the best acquisition in 2022 although i bought only 3 models this year. I am waiting for the second run of the famous 1946 Pontiac as my first model in 2023. Thank you very much for all the pics that you send Ben and everyone send on the forum that gives me not the taste to stop definitively to buy. The flame is not completely extinguished. Here are two that i liked also of the Lincoln taken at the museum. I wonder who have taken them?
These also if you don't want to have at least one woodie after that i do not understand?
@bob-jackman Indeed but not my collection however, Bob. I think that is Christopher's pics?
I've always been fond of this one
You are a dark man in a dark place John, but we would be lost without you 🤩
I'm sure there are far better images from members with lighting and other spectacular effects, not to mention the fine models. For me, I like to see the model clearly and if possible, in a suitable setting with a favourite driver.
Examples are first, Stirling Moss in the Lotus 18 on his way to winning the Monaco Grand Prix in 1961. The second is Stirling Moss at Aintree on May29th,1954 with his Cooper VIIa (Norton Manx 500).
@bob-jackman Not to be sorry, Bob. That happen to me also sometimes i download photos on the forum and forgot after who is the author. However, there are a few photos that i recognize the style or an objet like the surface of the table of Harvey.
You said favorite pictures not necessarily subject !
sooo,here’s my favorite picture….
Those pics of Renato i like as well.
Though I do not have a single favorite picture from 2022, those pictures you show from Renato are among my favorites.
