Many will say this opinion/suggestion is a no brainer or that it has been overdone already BUT ......here are several cars that I wish would be done in 1/43  resin as  tri-year series 2drht. sets by quality levels like Matrix or Goldvarg.  Lesser quality similar models are out there but these are such beautiful cars that they deserve to be represented at a higher quality group.  They would look great on display.

I would buy every one of them and I'm sure many others would as well.

A couple of them have been “done to death” but you are correct that I would have to have them all.

@jmullinax +1. Even though I have many of these already, the idea of sets makes them interesting.

@jmullinax I have some of them but can't seem to find really accurate ones of good finish quality in resin.

@jack-dodds

I would particularly like a well crafted 1/43 resin ‘57 Chevy in Sierra Gold or Dusk Pearl.

I agree that many should be remade using today’s technology. I’d sure like to upgrade my older models with these favorites from the past as the Fords and Chevys from the 50’s

@bob-jackman Yes for sure the sets would display really well; especially if these versions were included.....

@jack-dodds

Your photos got me wondering.....has any manufacturer ever produced a model of the '56 Parklane wagon. I can't recall ever seeing one.

@jmullinax To my knowledge no one has.  I keep whining on this site but to no avail as I LOVE the Park Lane....maybe one day.

What a great idea, Jack. I'd love to see sets like these. Let's hope someone picks up on this idea.

I wouldn't mine one of these, but maybe too new for a model subject?

1994 Buick Riviera

Or going back earlier the Scout II circa 1972.

1972 Scout II

Or any 1954 Oldsmobile 88 which have been over looked.

1954 Oldsmobile 88 convertible
1954 Oldsmobile 4 dr sedan
1954 Oldsmobile 88 hardtop

Yes, there was a very nice 56 Ford wagon produced a few years ago. I cannot remember the makers name, and unwilling to remove from my display. I believe they were made in a few different colo combos, but I liked this most.

@dirn Yes I had this one in several colors; it was a European manufacturer as I recall.  I sold them though as I felt that the rear quarters were a touch too short from roof pillar to fin point.
