    This is the MCLAREN M23 NO.40 BRITISH GP 1977 GILLES VILLENEUVE in 1:43 scale by Spark. Although finishing eleventh, Gilles Villeneuve’s performance at the British GP in 1977 did not go unnoticed and earned him a place in the Ferrari team before the end of the year. A pit stop caused by high water temperature cost two laps before the mechanics detected a faulty manometer giving erroneous information.Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used.
