So I decided to build it myself.” With this famousremark by Ferry Porsche, one of the most impressive success stories in automotive history began. Starting with the Porsche No.1 from1948 up to its highest stage of development, the Porsche 356 SC, more than 76,000 units of this first Porsche series sports car wereproduced from 1948 onwards, until it ceased production in 1965. The 356 SC produced an output of 95 hp from its 1.6 litre, air-cooled4-cylinder Boxer engine and reached a top speed of 185 kilometres per hour.This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most authentic replication.
