The 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT3 #88 won the 24 Hours of Spa, a 24-hour sports car endurance race held at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. The race was held on July 29-31, 2022. The #88 car was driven by Raffaele Marciello, Jules Gounon and Dani Juncadella. The team started the race from pole position and led for most of the race. They were able to hold off the competition and take the checkered flag in first place. The win was Mercedes-AMG’s first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Spa since 2013. It was also the first victory for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in any spec. The win was a major victory for Mercedes-AMG and a testament to the strength of the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
