This is the Ferrari 312 F1-67 1967 Italian GP Driver: C. Amon Car # 2 in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel. At the 1967 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Chris Amon drove the Ferrari 312 F1-67, car #2, in front of the passionate home crowd. Amon, known for his raw talent and relentless pace, was a rising star for Ferrari that season. The Italian GP was characterized by its high-speed layout, emphasizing engine power and aerodynamic efficiency—traits the 312 F1-67 possessed in part thanks to its powerful V12 engine. Unfortunately, despite a competitive showing, Amon retired from the race due to mechanical failure, a common theme in his career that often robbed him of deserved victories. The 1967 Italian GP was also poignant for Ferrari fans, being the team’s first race at Monza since the tragic death of teammate Lorenzo Bandini earlier that year, adding emotional weight to every red car on the grid. This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication.
