This is the Ferrari 246/256 Dino Monaco GP Driver P. Hill 1960 Car # 36 in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel. At the 1960 Monaco Grand Prix, Phil Hill piloted the Ferrari 246/256 Dino, car #36, through the tight, winding streets of Monte Carlo. Hill, one of America’s most accomplished racing drivers, was known for his technical finesse and smooth driving style—an ideal fit for Monaco’s famously narrow and unforgiving circuit. The race was particularly significant as it marked the final F1 appearance of front-engined cars on the challenging street course, with Ferrari adapting its 246 F1 chassis to a 2.5-liter engine (hence the hybrid 246/256 designation). While Hill didn’t secure a podium, his performance in the aging front-engined Ferrari stood out in a field increasingly dominated by nimble, mid-engined competitors, underscoring the end of an era in Formula One.This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication
