    This is the March 1/18 March 721X 1972 Race Of Champions Driver Ronnie Peterson Car # 61 in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.At the 1972 Race of Champions at Brands Hatch, Ronnie Peterson drove the #61 March 721X, an experimental Formula One car designed to centralize mass and improve handling. Despite its innovative design, the 721X struggled with balance and tire compatibility. Peterson qualified 8th and finished 12th, completing 39 of the 40 laps. This non-championship race featured a mix of F1 and Formula 5000 cars and was won by Emerson Fittipaldi in a Lotus 72D. Peterson’s performance highlighted his skill in managing a challenging car, though the 721X was soon replaced due to its handling issues.This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication. ​
