Team owner Hans-Olaf Beckmann, alongside co-drivers Peter Hass, Jürgen Schulten, and Volker Strycek, painstakingly rebuilt the car over nine months, restoring it from a bare chassis to race-ready condition. Despite being one of the oldest teams on the grid, with an average age of 63.5 years, they competed fiercely in the SP3 class, showcasing the enduring spirit of grassroots motorsport.
