Biela’s consistent performance throughout the season, including victories in the final two races at Hockenheim, secured his championship win with a total of 174 points. This achievement marked Audi’s first successful title defense in DTM history. The Audi V8 quattro, equipped with a powerful 3.6-liter V8 engine and advanced four-wheel-drive system, played a pivotal role in Biela’s success.
