Starting from the front row, Peterson maintained a strong position throughout the race. After Clay Regazzoni’s Ferrari retired due to engine failure on lap 40, Peterson took the lead. He held off Emerson Fittipaldi’s McLaren to claim the win, marking another triumph for the Lotus 72 series. This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”.
