Andruet, a highly skilled French rally driver, was known for his versatility across different rallying disciplines, having won the inaugural WRC Monte Carlo Rally in 1973. The Tour de Corse, often called the “Rally of 10,000 Turns,” was renowned for its relentlessly twisting tarmac stages across Corsica’s mountainous terrain. The combination of narrow roads, sheer cliffs, and constantly changing grip levels made it one of the most technical and demanding asphalt rallies in the World Rally Championship, favoring precision and endurance over outright speed.This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication.
