    This is the BMW E30 M3 #52 1988 ETCC (Version 2) in 1:43 scale by IXO.The BMW E30 M3 #52, driven by Jacques Laffite and Olivier Grouillard, competed in the 1988 European Touring Car Championship (ETCC), a season that marked the final year of the championship before its cancellation. The E30 M3, renowned for its high-revving 2.3L naturally aspirated engine and exceptional handling, was a dominant force in Group A racing. Laffite, a former Formula 1 driver, brought his experience to touring cars, while Grouillard was an emerging talent. This version of the ETCC featured intense manufacturer battles, particularly between BMW, Ford, and Mercedes-Benz. The series’ financial struggles led to its discontinuation after 1988, making this race one of the last in a legendary era of European touring car racing.Excellent quality and finish.
