This is the Ferrari 312P 3.0L V12 Coupe #19 1969 Le Mans 24h in 1:18 scale by Top Marques. The Ferrari 312P Coupe, numbered 19, was piloted by Chris Amon and Peter Schetty for Team SEFAC at the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans. Powered by a 3.0L V12 engine, the 312P was Ferrari’s contender in the prototype category, facing fierce opposition from the formidable Porsche 917 and Ford GT40. Amon and Schetty brought experience and skill to the challenge, but reliability issues plagued Ferrari’s efforts that year. The 1969 race was particularly iconic for its dramatic finish, where the Ford GT40 narrowly defeated Porsche by mere seconds, emphasizing the high stakes and fierce competition of that era in endurance racing. This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication.
