The Life L190 was one of the more unusual cars on the grid, designed by the eccentric engineer Romeo Ferraris. It featured a unique engine package, but its performance was far from competitive. Giacomelli, an experienced driver with a strong background in F1, struggled with the car’s lack of pace and reliability throughout the season. The 1990 season was one of transition, with teams like Life trying to break into the midfield but failing to match the established front-runners. Despite his best efforts, Giacomelli and Life’s challenges were emblematic of a season where the gap between the top teams and the backmarkers was as wide as ever.Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled.
