    This is the 1979 Fiat 131 Abarth SE035 Turbo Volumetrico Competizione Red in 1:18 scale by Maxima.The 1979 Fiat 131 Abarth SE035 Turbo Volumetrico Competizione was a radical evolution of the rally-winning 131 Abarth, developed as a prototype blending turbocharging with a volumetric (roots-type) supercharger. This experimental drivetrain configuration aimed to eliminate turbo lag while maximizing power and torque across the rev range—an advanced concept well ahead of its time. Though it never reached full competition deployment, the SE035 stood apart for its technical ambition, serving as a testbed for forced induction technologies that would later become mainstream in motorsport and road cars alike.This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication.
