This is the Porsche 356 1498cc F4 Carrera #26 1956 24h Le Mans in 1:18 scale by Spark.Porsche’s #26 entry—a custom-bodied 356 Carrera 1.5 L four-cylinder from coachbuilder Glöckler—was driven by factory rally ace Max Nathan and experienced sports-car driver Helm Glöckler. The pair took on the 1956 Le Mans in the smallest-displacement class, aiming to showcase the potent Fuhrmann Carrera engine in competition. Sadly, their race ended after eight hours in a collision-induced fire, forcing them to retire early. Though unclassified, the event was notable for being built by Porsche’s privateer workshop—offering a glimpse into the engineering spirit that inspired the later 550 Spyder—and marking one of the era’s most distinctive prototypes. These 1:18 scale replicas will be a great addition to any model collection. Models are hand painted and are made of cast Resin. Photo etched parts, tampo printing and waterslide decals are used to achieve the clear, crisp detail. Hand Painted and polished to a beautiful finish, these models are exceptionally accurate in scale and shape .
