This is the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C Rangoon Red in 1:43 scale by GLM.   The 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C (Semi-Competition) is an absolute beast and one of the defining muscle-sports cars of its era. What makes it truly special is its massive 7.0-liter “Side-Oiler” Ford FE 427 V8 mounted in a lightweight AC-Cobra chassis, and lots of competition-spec hardware—wider fenders, giant tires, side exhausts, big brakes, oil coolers, and more. With factory output around 425 hp and torque in the 460 lb-ft range, it could hit ~0-60 in under five seconds, and top 100 mph in just over 10 seconds—a performance level few road cars of the mid-’60s could match. Its rarity (only a few dozens of genuine S/C units built) and pedigree from racing give it immense collector status—making it a legend that set benchmarks not only for muscle cars, but for sports cars globally.Excellent quality and finish. Beautifully crafted and exquisitely detailed. Models are handpainted, decorated and assembled. Beautiful detail and accuracy of shape and scale. Photoetched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Each modelcomes with its own acrylic display case.
