This is the Jaguar C-Type No.19 Le Mans 24H 1952 Stewart/Whitehead in 1:43 scale by Spark. The Jaguar C-Type #19 was entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with drivers Peter Whitehead and Ian Stewart. The C‑Type was an advanced machine for its time, featuring a lightweight tubular chassis and sleek aerodynamic body designed by Malcolm Sayer, which made it competitive in a field dominated by larger engines and heavier cars. Although the #19 car did not finish the 1952 race due to cooling and mechanical issues that affected several of the team’s entries, the C‑Type itself was significant because it was one of Jaguar’s first pure racing prototypes and introduced important innovations; its successor would go on to break records and become one of the most legendary endurance racers when it averaged over 100 mph to win in 1953. Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Spark ensures the absolute best quality possible. Each model comes with its own acrylic display case.
