This is the 1973 VW 1303 Pastel Blue in 1:18 scale by Norev. The 1973 Volkswagen 1303 represents the final evolution of the classic Beetle before major redesigns, blending timeless charm with notable engineering improvements. It featured a curved “big-window” windshield, MacPherson strut front suspension, and upgraded interior comforts, giving it improved visibility, ride quality, and everyday usability over earlier models. What set the 1303 apart from its competition was its combination of the Beetle’s legendary reliability and simplicity with modernized handling and safety features, making it one of the most refined and driver-friendly iterations of a car that had already become a global icon. This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most authentic replication.
