This is the Larrousse Lola LC88 #30 1988 Monaco GP Philippe Alliot in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.Philippe Alliot piloted the Larrousse Lola LC88 (#30) in the 1988 Monaco GP, representing the small but ambitious Larrousse & Calmels team. The LC88 — designed by Eric Broadley and Chris Murphy — was powered by a 3.5‑liter Ford Cosworth DFZ V8.  Despite its modest performance, Alliot qualified 13th in the tight, unforgiving Monte Carlo street circuit. Unfortunately, his race was cut short by an accident, forcing him to retire — a common fate for underfunded teams trying to tame Monaco’s unforgiving layout.  What set this race apart was how it underscored the contrast between the dominant factory‑backed teams (like McLaren) and privateer outfits: Larrousse’s very presence in Monaco highlighted the spirit and determination of smaller teams in an era defined by turbo‑charged power and big budgets. This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most authentic replication.
