    This is the Ferrari 612 Can-Am Mid-Ohio 1969 #16 3rd Place Chris Amon in 1:43 scale by Tecnomodel.In the 17 August 1969 Can-Am round at Mid‑Ohio, Chris Amon drove the powerful Ferrari 612 P—a mid‑engine, 6.2‑liter V12 Group 7 prototype—to a 3rd-place finish, just behind the McLaren juggernaut.  Despite qualifying only 13th on the grid, Amon’s raw pace was undeniable: he set the fastest lap of the race at 1:26.4, underscoring the 612’s speed potential.  The performance was all the more noteworthy because the 612 was a relatively under-supported Ferrari effort in a series dominated by McLaren’s powerful V8s.  Amon’s result at Mid‑Ohio demonstrated that, when everything worked, Ferrari’s sleek V12 beast could truly challenge the frontrunners on equal footing.Excellent quality and finish. Beautifully crafted and exquisitely detailed. Models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Beautiful detail and accuracy of shape and scale.
