(North American Racing Team) and driven solo by Pedro Rodríguez, finished 2nd in the 500 km Bridgehampton race on September 19, 1965. Rodríguez, a fearless and naturally gifted driver, piloted the 365 P2—a customer prototype powered by a 4.4‑liter V12—to a strong result despite the tough competition. What made this race unique was its place in the World Sportscar Championship as one of two 500 km “Double 500” events held that day.  The Bridgehampton circuit was demanding, with long straights and tight corners, and Rodríguez’s performance underscored how skilled privateer teams like N.A.R.T. could challenge the factory-backed outfits.This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication.
