This is the Ferrari 412P #25 1+67 Le Mans Rodriuez/Baghetti in 1:43 scale by Looksmart. The Ferrari 412P #25, driven by Pedro Rodríguez and Giancarlo Baghetti, raced in the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans for the North American Racing Team (NART). Rodríguez, a rising star known for his fearless driving in prototypes, teamed up with Baghetti, himself a Grand Prix winner, to contest the grueling endurance event. The 412P was essentially an evolution of Ferrari’s earlier P3 chassis, outfitted with P4-style bodywork and powered by a 4.0L V12 engine. Unfortunately, despite its promising pedigree, the #25 car was forced to retire after 144 laps due to engine failure. What set this entry apart was that it was a privateer effort — raced by NART rather than the factory team — demonstrating Ferrari’s strategy of supplying its cutting-edge prototypes to customer teams during a fiercely competitive era of endurance racing.Excellent quality and finish. Beautifully crafted and exquisitely detailed. Models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Beautiful detail and accuracy of shape and scale. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Each model comes with its own acrylic display case.
