Aitken brought his experience from single-seaters and IMSA, Drugovich added his formidable pace (he’s a former Formula 2 champion), and Vesti contributed his youth and prototype racing skill. The car made headlines by earning the fastest lap in Hyperpole 1 with Aitken’s 3:22.742, the only sub‑3:23 time in that session. Unfortunately, despite the promise in qualifying, the #311 retired mid‑race after 247 laps due to a gearbox failure.
