This trio blended youth and experience — Vanthoor is a proven endurance talent, Marciello brings speed and consistency, and Magnussen is a former Formula 1 driver now adapting his skills to top-level prototype racing. During the race, the #15 car suffered a cooling issue with its hybrid system, which hampered performance over the final hours. What made the race especially unique was BMW’s return to Le Mans in the Hypercar (LMDh) era, showcasing its cutting-edge hybrid V8 technology (a turbo V8 combustion engine paired with a standardized hybrid unit) in one of motorsport’s most grueling endurance challenges.Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used.
