    This is the Porsche 550 No.38 Le Mans 24H 1955 Ringgenberg/Gilomen in 1:43 scale by Spark.The Porsche 550 Spyder No. 38 at the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans was driven by Swiss racers Walter Ringgenberg and Hans-Jörg Gilomen. The car, chassis number 550/0031, was powered by a 1.5L flat-four engine and entered by Jeudy-Bonnet. Unfortunately, the team retired after completing 65 laps due to an engine failure. This race is particularly significant due to the tragic accident involving Pierre Levegh’s Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, which resulted in the deaths of over 80 spectators and led to major safety reforms in motorsport.Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used.
