This car was a Porsche 356/4 SL, a lightweight aluminum-bodied version of the 356 designed specifically for racing. The team retired after completing 147 laps due to engine issues in the 18th hour of the race. Notably, the 1953 race was the first to feature the Jaguar C-Type, the first car to race at Le Mans with disc brakes, marking a significant technological advancement in motorsport.Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled.
