    This is the 1966 Ford GT40 MKII #5 Kandy Gold Metallic in 1:43 scale by Norev. 3rd overall at the 1966 Le Mans 24 Hours; driven by Ronnie Bucknum and Dick Hutcherson Holman-Moody/FoMoCo team car for 1966 to 1967 Also raced and tested by legendary drivers such as Ken Miles, Richie Ginther, A.J. Foyt, Mark Donohue, and Peter Revson The fourth of eight Mark II examples built Americans Dick Hutcherson and Ronnie Bucknum co-drove the #5 Ford GT40 Mark II at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. They took third place in the endurance race, having made 348 laps around the 8.34-mile circuit. Hutcherson and Bucknum rounded out Ford’s dramatic 1-2-3 podium sweep. It was Bucknum’s only Le Mans appearance, but Hutcherson returned in 1976.The 1966 Ford GT40 Mk II, often associated with Ford’s historic domination at Le Mans, was typically driven by top-tier drivers such as Ken Miles and Denny Hulme during that era, showcasing the car’s immense performance potential.
